Automatic Lessons are a great stress free way to learn to drive. Learning to drive can be both daunting and exciting at A1 National in Southend we strive to make learning to drive as easy and enjoyable as possible. We want you to pass the test first time and we also want to make sure you become a safe & confident driver on today's busy roads.

Our AUTOMATIC lessons are £30 per hour but, If you learn with the best instructors and not the cheapest the sooner you will pass and the less money you will spend. We only provide the highest quality driving lessons with the DVSA's highest grade A (51/51) driving instructors (of which only 5% of all instructors in the UK are) because of this, you will need fewer lessons to pass the test. Its not rocket science, the better the teacher the quicker you will learn to drive. 

The Truth About Lesson Prices.
Some instructors offer silly discounts because they are new to the job and have to start somewhere. Driving instructors who are not very good have to offer super cheap lessons to draw people in because they do not get recommendations. Driving schools that have too many instructors chasing too few pupils offer big discounts because they do not generate enough recommended business. 

Buy Cheap Buy Twice.
So please bear it in mind when you are thinking of taking up, what at first looks like a good deal, because you are probably booking in with an inexperienced instructor or a grumpy short tempered instructor or some poor instructor trying to make ends meet, doing lessons £££s cheaper than he can afford to do. Worst still, an instructor who may waste the first batch of discounted cheap lessons sitting at the side of the road saving petrol talking about driving. Instructors who do crazy discounts hate doing it, so you will not get 100% from them during your first 10 discounted lessons. FACT.
